Philippians 3:10(amp) "For my determined purpose is that I MAY KNOW HIM that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His person more strongly and more clearly, and that I may in that same way come to know the power out flowing from His resurrection which it exerts over believers, and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed in spirit into His likeness even to His death."

Paul was one of the greatest apostles and missionaries that ever lived. Most likely he led more people to the Lord than any other apostle. Yet, when he expressed the deepest cry of his heart, it was "Oh, that I might know Him!" The thing the apostle Paul wanted most in life was not to establish more churches or to win more souls, although he did these things. Rather, he wanted an intimate relationship with Jesus more than life itself. He wanted to know Him in a deep and intimate way, he wanted to hear from Him, he wanted to commune with Him. Paul longed to love the Lord more and more each day.

Although Paul found himself in positions of adversity, he displayed an attitude of conquest, joy, peace and ministry. This is the supernatural leader empowered by God to live out his values and change the world. Because of his love and relationship with the Lord, he never considered quitting or giving up.

Good also enables us to be strong and faithful leaders who can change the world one day at a time.

OH, THAT WE MAY KNOW HIM!
